MT Gambier Greyhounds Secure Sky Channel Coverage

Peter Ali, CEO of Greyhound Racing SA announced today that the Board has made a decision to invest in its South Eastern race facilities at Mount Gambier. The investment will include SKY DVN installation so that racing will be covered on either Sky 1 or 2 for 26 matinee race meetings over the next 12 months.

“This investment will allow increases to GRSA's revenue through 26 Sunday matinee meetings and adds to the development of this regional greyhound population,” said Mr. Ali.

“The first race meeting is planned for the 4th of July; however this is dependent on the installation as we are reliant on Sky to complete this in time.

The GRSA investment will also extend to an upgrade of the Semaphore Board and new Steriline boxes – to enable trip start and automatic .

I acknowledge the support of the GRSA Board in making this investment which strengthens the Greyhound Racing product in this state and we look forward to working with Mr. , Secretary/Treasurer of the Mount Gambier Racing Club and their members”.

“I wish to also acknowledge the financial contribution that the Mount Gambier Racing Club is making to the upgrade of these facilities.”
