Murray Bridge Straight Track meeting rescheduled due to heat
The Murray Bridge Straight Track greyhound racing event set for tomorrow, February 27, has been rescheduled to the morning due to the expected scorching heat in the area.
The first race will now kick off at 10:11 a.m (SA time), with the last of the 11 race lineup wrapping up at 1:27 p.m. (SA time).
Kennelling is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
Greyhound Racing South Australia (GRSA) expressed gratitude towards Sky Racing for accommodating this adjustment.
GRSA is dedicated to adapting as per its Hot Weather Policy to safeguard the well-being of all participants and animals involved.
The revised timetable is designed to minimise the impact of temperatures, on the greyhounds and ensure an equitable racing environment.
GRSA will be monitoring weather conditions closely.
