Qld v NSW rivalry intensifies in 2024 Straight Of Origin showdown
Queensland and New South Wales are gearing up for a showdown in the $40,000 Straight Of Origin race series at Capalaba on Sunday, June 16, 2024.

Also representing Queensland are Fernando Grand trained by Gary Mackay, and Thats Hot trained by Jedda Cutlack.
New South Wales will be led by last year's Straight Of Origin champion Shall Not under trainer Darren Sultana.
Joining him are Express Ethics and Jazzy Ethics owned by David Smith along with Macona Express trained by Jamie Hawkins.
The Preferential Box Draw will be used for the race and will be drawn on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, setting the stage for a clash between these greyhound racing contenders from both states.
The Straight Of Origin is a competition where Queensland and New South Wales showcase their best straight track greyhounds.
