Texas Tears Looks To Be Another Smart One For Ivers

The Helen Ivers owned & trained Texas Tears lived up to a reported fast trial with a flying 23.18 maiden win on Tuesday night.

Having been well supported in a 400m maiden at recently, Texas Tears gave nothing else a chance leading throughout recording a smart 10.81 first section.

If Tuesday night's effort is anything to go on the Ivers Kennel look to have a very smart bitch on their hands.

owned by Richard Soo & trained at Killcare by John Miles made it four wins on the trot when he scored by 2¾ lens in the 400m FFA. Tommie's litter brother Laurie's Rocket ran on well for second with She's A Melody third in 23.32. Tommie Nate has now had 35 starts for 17 wins, 6 seconds & 5 thirds.

Returning to after three unplaced runs at Wenty, scored a good win in race nine a 4/5th grade 515m event. After being only moderately away Seditious overcame a chequered passage to run down the early leader & score by 3 lens in 30.57.

owned by Don & & trained at Londonderry by recorded a B.O.N 30.09 in taking out heat one of the Gosford to Wenty series. Landing straight on the bunny Houdini Dancer gave nothing else a look in scoring by nine lens with section of 4.61 & 17.09. Having won her maiden at Wenty, Houdini Dancer looks well placed in the final of this series to be held at Wenty on Monday 15th Dec.

The $1000 to the winner mixed final was taken out by owned & trained at Erina by Mark Taylor who made it back to back Gosford wins, leading throughout in a smart 30.30.
