Tiggerlong Gas brings up 22nd career win at Ballarat
Tiggerlong Gas lined up in his 81st career start and served up a perfect rails run to win at Ballarat on Wednesday night.
The Samantha Grenfell-trained chaser started the 390m mixed-grade race as a +550 prospect as he looked to notch up his third win on the trot.
Jumping from box two, he get out to sit third behind Willow Road (+130) and Blackpool Dill (+110) at the front.
On the final corner, Tiggerlong Gas ran through on the rail to pass the leader, kicking on to win by three-and-three-quarter lengths ahead of Blackpool Dill and Clark (+1200) in 22.06 seconds.

Last time out, on September 8, Tiggerlong Gas came over the top of leader Gunai Prince to win by a length in a 400m mixed-grade contest at Geelong.
The start prior, he beat home a classy field that included Nineteen Crimes and Got Attitude by one-and-a-quarter lengths over the 390m at Ballarat.
The Fabregas x Tiggerlong Dot dog has 22 wins and 26 placings from 81 career starts and has earned $51,285 in prize money for his connections.
His career kicked off two years ago with a win, beating home Mepunga Gem and High Card Riot by four-and-a-quarter lengths over the 460m at Geelong.
In his first six starts, Tiggerlong Gas had two wins and four placings, including a runner-up finish behind Daylen Bale in a Bendigo mixed-grade final.
