War Hawk was far too good over the 472m trip at on Tuesday night.

War Hawk stepped out for his 10th start and notched up a fourth-straight win on Tuesday night at Bulli.

The Penny Hutchinson-trained chaser lined up in the 472m fifth-grade contest as a short-priced favourite at $1.05 with online greyhound bookmakers.

Jumping from the inside box, he got the rails run to hit the lead and swung the bend well out in front.

He ran on to beat home Ibrox Cooper ($7.50) and Emerley Red ($34) by four-and-a-quarter lengths in a time of 26.27.

It was the first start at the distance for War Hawk, who has raced predominantly over the 400m range at , Nowra, Goulburn, and Bulli.

In his last start on August 22, War Hawk ran a 22.33 over the Bulli 400m trip, beating Aqua Jaguar and Just Brew It by a dominant seven lengths.

He kicked off his career in November last year, taking the win by four and a half lengths at the Maitland 400m in a heat of the Maiden Series.
