Ipswich greyhound tips & betting preview for Thursday October 31 2024
Tonight’s Ipswich greyhound racing meeting is scheduled to take place in south-east Queensland on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 7:19 PM AEDT.
The evening will feature a total of 12 races, including seven heats of the 2024 Group 1 Ipswich Gold Cup, and three heats of the 2024 Group 3 Past Members Trophy.
The main highlight of the evening are the Group 1 Ipswich Gold Cup Heats over 520 metres. Each heat offers a prizemoney pool of $12,300. The winner of each heat will secure a winning purse of $7,995. Greyhounds will need to win their heat, or be the fastest second to qualify for next week’s Group 1 final.
Apart from the Ipswich Gold Cup heats, the 2024 Group 3 Past Members Trophy heats will also feature over 630 metres. Each of the heats comes with a prizemoney pool amounting to $13,600. The winners will earn $8,840.
