Race 2: Dalwhinnie (2)
Dalwhinnie ran 29.6 when narrowly beaten in the heats of the MDC maiden series and was considered a big chance in the final before finding trouble and falling. He has an obvious talent and class advantage on this field. While he will start as a short-priced favourite with online bookmakers, William Butler’s chaser will not be a maiden after this race.

Race 5: Me Style (1)
Me Style showed improvement by winning here in 29.83 last time out. Although she has been vulnerable at the end of the 520m trip, Jay Opetaia’s dasher has great early pace and is yet to go unplaced from box one. If Me Style can begin well and lead this race, it will be a hard ask for any of her competitors to run her down.

Has Ability’s last three runs against top-class greyhounds have been very good, including an impressive third in the MDC semifinals. He loves Wenty, with 15 placings from 29 runs, and handles a wide draw well. Dropping down to fifth grade, Stuart Hazlett’s runner should be very competitive at good odds with top greyhound betting sites — despite the awkward draw.
