Warragul serves up a full 12-race Thursday afternoon card, with the first heat jumping at 2:32pm in the Supporters of Having a Crack Maiden over 460m. Short-course contests dominate the early program, with the likes of the 400m Sennachie at Stud and G’day Chef Caterers maidens offering $1,000 to the winners.
The middle of the meeting brings a mix of Grade 5 and restricted class races over both 400m and 460m, including the Shima Shine at Stud in Race 5 and the Paua of Buddy at Stud in Race 6. Consistent sprinters such as Kenzie Kid, Aston Monitor and Excavator Ticket will be looking to capitalise on the $1,530 purses.
The program closes with a run of Grade 5 events from Race 10 through to the 6:25pm closer, the RSN Grey Areas Wednesday and Friday, ensuring there’s action from start to finish.
