Wentworth Park preview & top betting tips | Thursday, August 15
Wentworth Park plays host to 10 top-class races this Thursday night, with the first beginning at 6:51pm local time. Headlining the program are a couple of wonderful heats for the boys and the girls, as well as a quality non-graded race. Australian Racing Greyhound will be trackside and can hopefully find you a winner or two.
Race 2: Lorraine Jacky (2)
Lorraine Jacky ran second in the Group 1 Peter Mosman Opal three starts back and will find a fifth-grade heat right up her ally. She has a tremendous career record of five wins and four seconds from her 11 starts. She has exceptional early pace and a 29.65 personal best, and if she begins cleanly, Lorraine Jacky should lead all the way.

Race 4: Eat The Ticket (1)
After winning a maiden and a mixed-grade race at Richmond, Eat The Ticket comes to Wentworth Park to contest a 1–2 wins race. While this is the strongest field he has faced to date, Peter Lagogiane’s chaser draws superbly in box one. If he gets room to move early from the two dog, Eat The Ticket may well run the hands off the clock.

From 15 starts, Fernando Vella has posted eight wins and four placings. He has won from box eight and this draw looks pretty good for him, as he can take a few strides to really find his top gear. Online bookmakers may take a chance on him due to the wide draw, and if they do, Fernando Vella will start at tremendous value.
