Wentworth Park Saturday tips & betting preview | June 14
This Saturday night at Wentworth Park there are 11 top class races on the programme. The first race commences at 7.25pm local time and the highlights will be the heats for the boys and girls and the top-class non-graded race that is on the card. Australian Racing Greyhound will be trackside and can hopefully find you a winner or two.
Race 8: Zipping Grinch (8)
In a very tough non-graded race Zipping Grinch just might get all of the favours from box eight. His 29.62 run here last start was very impressive and although stepping up in class, he draws outside his slow beginning kennelmate Zipping Megatron, which should allow him full use of the middle of the track. If he gets any luck in the run to the first turn, he will be swooping around them and going on to stamp himself a real top-class greyhound.

Race 1: Rosa Marie (4)
Rosa Marie sizzled around here in 29.60sec last start and put away a good field. She loves Wenty with two wins and three placings from her six attempts. While box four is a concern, as she will go straight down the centre of the track, most of the dogs in this race are risky beginners. If Rosa Marie can just get away cleanly and have no interference in the run to the first turn, she will sweep to the front and prove very hard to run down.

Race 6: Closing Model (7)
Closing Model is a beautifully bred bitch who has been doing her recent racing up on the new Q circuit in Queensland. She possesses extraordinary early pace when she nails the start and she could easily lead this field on her QLD form. She will get tired late, but hopefully she opens up enough of a break to hang on — and at what should be outstanding value odds with the top online bookmakers.
