Indefatigable takes out 2023 Pop Northfield Maiden final at Casino
Indefatigable took out the Pop Northfield Maiden final at Casino on Friday night as a long-odds chance to deliver her trainer redemption for last year's edition.
The Reg Gardoll-trained chaser lined up in the 411m maiden contest paying +2500 odds with greyhound bookmakers, against the +150 race favourite, Lukey Valley.
Jumping from box five, Indefatigable got out to the lead straight after the box rise and led for the entire trip.
She beat Darby Display (+270) back in third.

The winning time improved on last week's race debut, a 23.65 heat win by Indefatigable.
Indefatigable is from an April 2022 litter of two by Fernando Bale out of Spookie Magic.
Litter sister Luna Starline is set to step out for her race debut over the 350m trip at Grafton on October 31.
The $10,000-to-the-winner victory gave trainer Reg Gardoll some redemption after he finished runner-up in the same race last year with Starline Express.
Starline Express has gone on to finish second in this year's Grafton Cup and amass $109,260 in prize money as Gardoll's top performer.
