Wentworth Park greyhounds preview & tips | Thursday, December 5
Wentworth Park plays host to 10 top-quality races this Thursday night, with some of the most exciting young greyhounds in the state taking centre stage. The first race is due to begin at 6:54pm AEDT, and Australian Racing Greyhound has delved deep into the form to find you three of the best bets.
Race 2: Zig Zag Man (8)
Zig Zag Man was ultra-impressive last start here, running 29.55 and winning by over eight lengths. Box eight should pose no problems with the greyhound in box seven heading to the fence early. Sydney Swain’s chaser is still learning and improving, and if he finds a soft trail across to the rails early, he should be accounting for this field.

Race 6: Nangar Lady (8)
Nangar Lady missed the start last week in a tough race and never really got a clear shot at them. While this is fourth and fifth grade, she is undoubtedly the best greyhound in the field. Box eight shouldn’t hold any concerns in a race with genuine pace, and if she can get back to her best form, Nangar Lady will lead and win comfortably.

Race 9: Mr Nicko (8)
Mr Nicko is still learning his trade and improving with every run. He missed the kick against a very good young greyhound last start but never stopped trying. He meets a far inferior field here, and although he can be risky at box rise, he should get all the favours from box eight and find himself in a winning position by the first turn.
