Jumping only fairly, Fleetwood Kazak quickly recovered along the rails as early speedsters Motor City Sonny and Sweet Bee set the pace.

Navigating traffic, the talented youngster surged into contention off the back straight before finishing strongly to defeat Motor City Sonny by 2.25 lengths at $4.25 with the best online bookmakers.

West On Gnocchi rounded out the podium, another 1.25 lengths adrift in third.
