Tom Tzouvelis (Trainer): “She is drawn where she wants to be, she may not be the fastest dog in the race, that's just the facts but she loves the place and has the box she wants. She picked up a small injury in the Lismore Cup series and may have been a little bit underdone going into last week's race, so she may strip a little bit fitter.”
Peter O'Reilly (Trainer): “He came into the heats off an injury and had done next to nothing for nine days, he may have been a little underdone. He is going good and looks really well drawn.”
William Elson (Trainer): – “She has drawn a good box so she should go well. If you are out the front and away from all the trouble, you have got more of a chance of winning. She has early speed, her first and second sections are pretty good and she can run home too, she is pretty strong. She has been unlucky a couple of times, but she might get there one day. I reckon she will go well, Happy Haswell will most probably win it, but she will be right in it in the finish.”
Reg Kay (Trainer): “The dog outside him likes to use the track and the dog on his inside is usually slow early so he might get a bit of room. He has had plenty of practice from box four. I think he is still getting better, if he just had a bit more early pace he could really be one of the best going around for his age.”
Darren Russell (Trainer): “He needed to draw inside, I think that would have been his best chance. The dog who is in box seven is quick early and wants to come across. He has as much ability as them but the draw hasn't helped.”
Tony Brett (Trainer): “Our only chance was to draw the eight and we done that so I give her some sort of rough hope. She is going as good as ever but her racing style has changed a bit since she won it last year. She is more dour now and seems to be a little bit stronger. She may not be the fastest dog in the race but if they make any mistakes, she is where she wants to be and she will be right there.”
Peter O'Reilly (Kennel Representative): “Hes only young but he is going real well,he can certainly get out of a box. He looks pretty well drawn out there too, he has won two races from wide boxes.”
ARG Comment: Super consistent performer who has his share of ability. He tends to begin moderately and likes to,use the track. He can ill afford to be too tardy here or he may find himself in trouble.

Happy Haswell (4) is the class runner and the amount of room he is granted early could be key to his chances. If he lands in the top couple at the post the first time, expect him to explode away in the second half of the race.
Yogi Blue (2) is a recent Group Two winner who could find the front early here. He will give them something to catch if he lands on the bunny.
Reigning champion Regal Lauryn (8) has had a lean 12 months by her standards but is drawn to go back-to-back if she produces her best.
Le Sirenuse (1) is another drawn perfectly and has an affinity with the Ipswich Circuit. Expect her to be thereabouts at the business end of proceedings.
Youngster Hopping Houdini (9) is lightning early and could carve across the field and put himself in the picture at odds.
