Aston Kane returned to racing in fine style here last week and with an ounce of luck in the first 50-metres he should be able to go back to back. Soon after box rise last week he moved to the right, so from the pink draw tonight he should be afforded all the breaks in the run to the first bend. His overall time of 30.13 was solid and if he leads tonight I would expect him to go well under the 30 second barrier.
Firecette tends to race very well here and she shouldn't be too far away, she is coming off a seven week break but in the middle of January she posted a very fast placing over this journey. She has slow beginners on either side so she should get a fairly clear passage early.
Red Can is going to be well supported and if he pings the lids he can definitely win, however his box manners are terrible and he is too risky from the middle pin.
Allen Hodney is better than his form reads and he is a must for your exotic bets, he can show early dash and he is suited in this company.
Top Four: 8 – 2 – 5 – 7
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Aston Kane
Boxed Quinella: 2,5,7,8 ($6 for 100%)
Exacta: 2,8/2,5,7,8 ($6 for 100%)
Trifecta: 8/2,5,7/Field ($18 for 100%)

Physical Road has been racing in consistent fashion of late and she looks well placed in this event. She is armed with slick early speed and with the lack of pace underneath she should get a fairly cheap lead. She isn't overly strong but she has been hitting the line better in recent weeks, at the each-way price she appears to be a great value bet with William Hill.
Aussie Noorumba is a highly promising type and he has tremendous high speed, the only concern with him is that he can be a little risky at box rise and he tends to move right soon after the start. If he happens to miss the kick tonight he will be crowded and I can see him getting shuffled a long way back.
Wayne's Error could be over the odds, he is well placed nearer the inside and he has been placed in three of six over this trip, if he can trail the three early he may prove too strong in the run home.
Irinka Grant rounds out the chances, he had little luck in his SA debut and he should be a lot better for that run.
Top Four: 3 – 2 – 5 – 8
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Physical Road
Quinella: 3 to rove with 2,5,8 ($3 for 100%)
Exacta: 2,3,5/2,3,5,8 ($9 for 100%)
Trifecta: 3/2,5,8/Field ($18 for 100%)
Trifecta: 2,3,5/2,3,5,8/1,2,3,5,6,8 ($36 for 100%)
1st: $1,645 2nd: $470 3rd: $235.

Nowak is a class act when on song and he should prove too good for this lot. Two starts back he showed sizzling early speed and he never looked in doubt when posting a smart 30.27 victory here. There is very little speed drawn around him tonight, so if he can do everything right at box rise he should be able to roll to the lead and assume control. He is very fast when on the lure and he looks one of the better bets of the night.
Boonoona Boy has been disappointing in recent months but he is much better than that and from the red he should be able to site the lure a lot earlier and that will help with his confidence. I can't back him with any confidence but if he is over the odds he could be worth a saver bet.
Zipping Fee Fee comes here with strong NSW form and she has won from this draw previously. In her career to date she has showed solid early speed and if she can settle in the top three early she should be there at the end.
Scottish Thistle is the interesting runner, she showed signs of her best form here on Monday and with some luck early she could cause a boil over.
Top Four: 5 – 1 – 8 – 2
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Nowak with William Hill
Exacta: 1,5/1,2,5,8 ($6 for 100%)
Quinella: 5 to rove with 1,2,8 ($3 for 100%)
Trifecta: 5/1,2,8/Field ($18 for 100%)
1st: $2,150 2nd: $610 3rd: $305.

Fire Tyson is clearly not the same chaser anymore but from his favourite draw he is still good enough to win a race like this. Four starts back he posted a slick 22.67 Gawler win and he has followed that effort up with two steady efforts here. With two 515-metre runs under his belt he should be ready to show his best form.
Kalden Legenda is likely to start favourite and he has been in great form of late, however I do have a small concern with him because there is quite a bit of speed drawn around him tonight. He does his best racing when he can lead and I dont think the three is going to give him any space early, so he is a big lay in this event.
Dyna Erwin is never far away in these types of races and he is a must for your exotics, he scored back to back wins here in early March and he might be over the odds.
Sporting Tears has a great record here and if he carves up the two early in the race he should be able to find the rail and settle in a prominent spot.
Top Four: 8 – 5 – 3 – 2
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Fire Tyson
Exacta: 5,8/2,3,5,8 ($6 for 100%)
Quinella: 8 to rove with 2,3,5 ($3 for 100%)
Trifecta: 3,5,8/2,3,5,8/2,3,4,5,6,8 ($36 for 100%)
1st: $2,290 2nd: $650 3rd: $325.

Taser Mcbain is one of the most reliable chasers in training and she should give a great sight again. She is ideally placed in the pink draw and it took a very smart chaser to run her down here last week. There is quite a bit of speed in this race and that might work into her favour because she should be good enough to clear them and they are likely to shuffle up behind her at the first bend.
Sandave Gem has the good draw and she is bursting to break through again, last week she was placed in very fast time and if she can settle in the top three early she will be very strong in the run to the line.
Red Line Lad can pull out a run now and again and he is likely to be nice value, he is suited to the wide draw and he is a must for your exotic bets.
Barnes Bay has the speed to lead and he will be well fancied, however I think he is limited to a place chance as he does tend to stop quickly in the run home.
Top Four: 8 – 1 – 6 – 3
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Taser Mcbain with William Hill
Quinella: 8 to rove with 1,3,6 ($3 for 100%)
Exacta: 1,8/1,3,6,8 ($6 for 100%)
Trifecta: 8/1,3,6/Field ($18 for 100%)
Trifecta: 1,8/1,8/Field ($12 for 100%)

Antonio Tyson has been racing very well of late and he was desperately unlucky here on Monday. He is showing a lot more early dash at present. The draw won't help him but he has very little speed around him and with a clean getaway he will have sufficient dash to push through and assume control. He is a different chaser when he can lead and he could be nice odds in this event.
Quick Kisses had her first start for two months here two weeks back and she will have derived a lot of benefit from that run, she has a great record from wide draws and she has gone a very zippy 4.43 to the first marker here previously.
Necro Bale is capable of mustering speed very quickly and he should run a big race, three starts back he showed great mid race dash when placed in slick time here.
Kingda Kahn rounds out the chances, he is very hard to follow but he does have a heap of talent and he can ping the lids on occasions.
Top Four: 4 – 8 – 2 – 7
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Antonio Tyson
Quinella: 4 to rove with 2,7,8 ($3 for 100%)
Exacta: 4,8/2,4,7,8 ($6 for 100%)
Trifecta: 4/2,7,8/Field ($18 for 100%)

Peejay Jack is super consistent and he looks placed to win tonight. He normally begins very well in his races and he should have sufficient speed to get across in this. Both chasers on either side of him tonight have poor box manners and that should allow him clear space in the first 50-metres. He has broken 30 seconds here previously and his most recent victory was at Mount Gambier in a blistering 29.66.
Cosmic Wild is hit or miss early but he can muster quickly and he should follow Peejay Jack across once he gets balanced. He tends to save his best racing for Gawler but this race isn't overly strong and he should get every chance to feature.
Danyo's Dabby is extremely unreliable but extremely talented, two starts back he posted a sizzling 29.82 win here and if he reproduces that effort he will play a major role.
Freesia Bale rounds out the chances, she doesn't win very often but she is quite strong and she should run home into the placings.
Top Four: 6 – 7 – 5 – 1
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Peejay Jack with William Hill
Boxed Quinella: 1,5,6,7 ($6 for 100%)

Kalden Gambino is a faultless beginner and he has a tremendous record over this track and trip. Last time out he flew to the first marker and was never in doubt when posting a dazzling 29.66 win here. There are slow beginners all around him again tonight so he should get a clear passage early and he should simply prove too classy for his rivals.
Young Gun Mcbain has the speed and talent to match the favourite and he too has scored some sizzling wins here of late, it should come down to who can find the early lead.
He's A Villian powered to the line when scoring here in 29.99 last time and he is a must for the exotics, he is likely to get too far back to score but he might be a great anchor for third and fourth in your exotic bets.
Punishment is the only other genuine chance, he is poorly drawn but he can ping the lids and he does have devastating speed, if he goes around at silly odds he could be the value bet.
Top Four: 3 – 6 – 2 – 1
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Kalden Gambino with William Hill
Boxed Quinella: 1,2,3,6 ($6 for 100%)

Van Carrho Flash is stepping up to the middle distance tonight and that should help him regain some confidence. He isn't the best of beginners but he mustered speed at a rate of knots and he should be able to drive through and match motors with Excusez Moi early. He will scrape the rail for most of the journey and that should help him get away mid-race and I think he will have no trouble covering the extra distance.
Excusez Moi just keeps on pinging the lids and winning and she will give a great sight again, I dont think she can go with Van Carrho Flash mid-race but she should be able to hold on for the quinella spot.
Rained has raced well without winning since coming from NSW and he must be included in your exotic bets, two starts back he was far from disgraced when placed behind Cash In Looper at Gawler over 643-metres.
Aeroplane Bowser can pull out a run every now and again and he must also be included in your exotic bets.
Top Four: 4 – 6 – 8 – 2
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Van Carrho Flash
Boxed Quinella: 2,4,6,8 ($6 for 100%)
Trifecta: 4/2,6,8/Field ($15 for 100%)
Exacta: 4,6/2,4,6,8 ($6 for 100%)

Warrior Of Oz is probably drawn poorly out wide but he does possess fantastic early speed and he can run time when on the lure. There is very little speed in five, six and seven so he shouldn't cop too much interference in the run to the first bend. He isn't overly strong but I'm expecting him to set up a race winning lead mid-race.
Springvale Clint is better suited to a longer journey but this isn't an overly strong race and he will be charging home at the end. Last time out at Gawler he powered to the line when scoring a sizzling 37.44 win over the 643-metre journey.
Bon Choix is a money muncher but this is the weakest race she has contested for a while and she should run a big race, if she is over the odds she is definitely worth an each-way ticket with William Hill.
Top Four: 8 – 6 – 5 – 4
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Warrior Of Oz
Boxed Quinella: 4,5,6,8 ($6 for 100%)
Exacta: 6,8/4,5,6,8 ($6 for 100%)
Trifecta: 8/4,5,6/Field ($18 for 100%)

Mcray appears to be going from strength to strength and he looks a great bet from the red draw. After a couple of luckless placings here, he finally put it altogether and posted a commanding 30.03 victory. He isn't the best at box rise but he will muster quickly and as they reach the post he should have pushed through to the lead.
Ollington is a fast beginner and he should sit outside or just behind the red for most of the journey and he won't give up without a fight. I dont think he can roll the red but he should fill the quinella spot.
Allen Grundy has shown some talent in his two SA runs and he could be value for the place, he doesn't win very often but he is rarely far away.
Chilli In White rounds out the top four, she showed great improvement when placed here last week and I can see her sneaking into some minor money with a clear run early.
Top Four: 1 – 7 – 2 – 3
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Mcray with William Hill
Boxed Quinella: 1,2,3,7 ($6 for 100%)
Exacta: 1,7/1,2,3,7 ($6 for 100%)
Trifecta: 1/2,3,7/Field ($18 for 100%)
