2008 Coursing Season Gets Underway
The 2008 season started on Sunday at Virginia in South Australia, with 64 greyhounds entered for the GOTBA's first meeting. The winners were spread out over all trainers with some very good youngsters appearing for the first time.
Neil Mann's Pillage provided some eye catching runs and this Sep '06 youngster has a lot more wins in store. Carole Scott's Noble Quoted returned to the winner's circle when taking out the Adelaide Plains Veterinary All Aged Stake.
Owners and trainers are reminded that the SA GBOTA's next meeting is scheduled for 18 May and all grades will be catered for. Remember, nominations now close with GRSA at 9 am on the Wednesday preceding our meeting.
