The GOTBA Maiden Race 3 saw a newcomer in Nathan Wilson lead in his first winner when Infinate Joy defeated Wendy Sebastyan's Shiela's Moment in 15.57.

Karon Blakemore's patience was rewarded when Blonde Justice took out the GOTBA Maiden Race 4 when she defeated Robyn Mackellar's Black Merlo in 15.38.
