Top greyhound racing parlay picks for Tuesday January 5, 2016
UNFORTUNATELY we missed out on one of our legs yesterday, with Kenny's Flash about to drive through and settle in a nice spot before finding bother. We are back to a three leg multi today and hopefully we can get a collect.
Leg 1 – Warragul – Race 1: Until Tuesday To Win $1.75
Until Tuesday is a royally bred chaser and she is in the very capable hands of Glenn Rounds. She made her debut last week and she was extremely well supported. On that occasion she was squeezed out in the initial stages and she was always going to struggle from then on. From the red draw she should step well and I'm expecting her to push through and just about hold the lead. On givebacks last week she recorded around the 26.10 mark and with natural improvement she may give the 26 flat mark a nudge. She will be short but she should get us off to a flying start.
Leg 2 – Warragul – Race 2: Dr. Bodacious To Place $3.75
Dr. Bodacious is an extremely frustrating chaser and he is very hard to follow, however he is blessed with enormous talent and one out he is faster than any other chaser in this event. The only problem is that he does pull up in his races if he gets to the front too early. From the wide draw tonight he should get a nice run into the race and I'm expecting him to be in the top four as they head through the corner. He is quite strong in the run home and he is currently enormous value at $3.75 for the place. If he times his run to perfection and doesn't hit the front too early, he might get over the top of them late and he could salute at the big odds, so it might be worthwhile having something on him for the win separately.
Leg 3 – Warragul – Race 4: Amlin Boy To Place $1.57
Amlin Boy was a sizzling 22.76 debut winner here in August and since that time he has recorded four placings and he hasn't experienced a lot of luck in those races. Tonight he finds himself in a race which lacks genuine early speed, so if he can step on terms he should be able to drive to the early lead and he will definitely take some catching. The last 20 or 30m is a slight concern but this race isn't strong so if he turns with a length or so up his sleeve he should be able to hang on for victory.
