McMahon Fined For Stewards Inquiry No Show
The Stewards of Greyhound Racing Victoria on 21st August, 2011 charged Mrs. Judith McMahon of Darriman with a breach of GAR86(e) in that she did fail to attend or give evidence at an Inquiry on 21st August, 2011, held pursuant to the Rules when directed by the Stewards to do so.
Under Rule 47.1 of the Greyhound Racing Victoria Local Rules this constitutes a Serious Offence which is to be heard by the Racing Appeals & Disciplinary Board in the first instance under Greyhound Racing Victoria Local Rule 47.3 and Sections 83C(b) and 83M of the Racing Act.

Mrs. McMahon pleaded guilty.
After hearing all the evidence tendered, the RADB found Mrs. Judith McMahon guilty as charged and
fined her $250 wholly suspended pending not being found guilty of a similar offence occurring within
the next 12 months, effective Monday, 17th October, 2011.
