Seeking Justice wins the 2016 Group 1 Galaxy

SEEKING Justice scored the biggest win of his 48 start career on Saturday night, taking out the Group 1 Galaxy at .

Starting as the $1.90 favourite off box one, the brindle dog was midfield to begin but was able to push up along the fence, assuming the lead as the leading division bunched up and found trouble in the run through the first turn.

The interference left the market leader in the clear lead out in front, with Dyna Nihilist (box four) and Hodor (box two) doing all the chasing back in second and third respectively.

Swinging for home and Seeking Justice was in a race of his own, drawing clear to record a four and three quarter length win in 42.35 – the fastest time recorded over the 715m trip since the new Cannington track opened earlier this year.

Dyna Nihilist ran a top race to grab second, with Victorian Ryno's Raider making up ground to finish third a further two and three quarter lengths back.

Trained by , Seeking Justice has now won 21 of his 48 career starts with over $208,000 in career earnings.

The son of and had been promising to break through at the top level for quite a while, having previously being trained in Victoria where he won the 3 and placed third in the 2016 .
