2010 Pages Event Hire Sydney Cup Final
Following Saturday night's heats at Wentworth Park the box draw for next Saturday night's final was completed on track. The details of the official draw are published below.
The faster heat winner was Nana Cook which ran a sizzling 42.11, not far off Chinatown Lad's track record of 41.93 set on August 30, 2008. The other heat was won in 42.58 by Beware.
A cheque for $25,000 together with a presentation rug and trophy awaits the winner of this Group 2 event. All place getters receive a GBOTA Commemorative Medallion as a memento of the occasion.
The final goes as race 8 at 9.50 pm on Saturday's ten race program. Gates open at 5.30 pm with the first race at 7.28 pm. Entry is $5.50 for adults with children free.
