Adoption day hits Shepparton for the first time next month

Greyhounds As Pets adoption program

THE Greyhound Adoption Program (GAP) is set for its first-ever stint at this Sunday.

It is expected that 30 greyhounds will find new homes at the event hosted by Greyhound 's (GRV) adoption program.

This Sunday's GAP is the last adoption day for 2018 with hundreds of greyhounds adopted through the GAP so far this year.

GRV welcomes people to GAP sessions to see if adoption is something that could work for them. It is a great opportunity to talk with GAP staff and interact with the GAP's friendly greyhounds.

The greyhounds up for adoption have passed the GAP's process and are ready to go home with their new families.

This is a free event, but registration is required to attend the Adoption Day. If you plan to adopt on the day, you will need to fill out the adoption application which can be found on the GAP website.
