An interim suspension has been placed on Mr. Colin Wasson, regarding the investigation of alleged animal welfare breaches. This matter is ongoing, pending the finalisation of enquiries. All greyhounds have been removed from Mr. Wasson's care.

Mr. was fined an amount of $1,000 after the banned substance diclofenac was detected in the greyhound Patonga Dave, after it competed at Lithgow on October 22, 2022. The greyhound was subsequently disqualified from race seven.

Mr. Bradley O'Neil was handed down a suspension of four-weeks for the banned substance was detected in the greyhound Bestow Keeping, after it competed in race 10 at Bathurst on September 26, 2022. Mr. O'Neil's suspension commenced on January 24, 2023, and will conclude on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. The greyhound was disqualified from the event.

Mr. was disqualified for a period of five years, after GRV found that he failed to register syndicates in which interests/ownership shares were sold, including failing to supply receipts for shares purchased, failed to keep proper records, supply owner certificates for shares purchased, failed to comply with a number of terms in his RSK Syndicate Contracts, failed to interact with syndicate members with respect, transferred greyhounds to a third party instead of registering the syndicate, pay winnings on a monthly basis and advise that a greyhound he sold shares in was not in his control. The matter has been referred to the Victorian Racing Tribunal, who will conduct a directions hearing to program a hearing on the penalties, given the guilty finals in three (3) instances.

Mr. was fined a sum of $1,500, with $800 suspended for a period of 24 months pending no further reoffences of the relevant rule, for the banned substance Guaifenesin detected in the greyhound Ertugrul Bey, after it competed in race eight at on May 16, 2022. Mr. Caulfield's fine was also fined a further $3,000 after he was found guilty of failing to maintain minimum treatment records after administering wormer. The greyhound was disqualified from the event at Shepparton.

Mr. was issued a penalty suspension of three (3) months, suspended for 24 months pending no further re-offence under this rule and issued a fine of $300, after the banned substances caffeine, theophylline, and theobromine were detected in the greyhound Taltarni Black, after it competed in race eight at Bendigo on April 29, 2022. The greyhound was subsequently disqualified from the event.
