Australian Racing Greyhound has Facebook page shut down
AUSTRALIAN Racing Greyhound is sad to inform readers our Facebook page has been “unpublished”.
Facebook, the popular social media network, cut us off on Friday for apparently breaching the terms and conditions of the website.
The notice we received said we must not: “Promote or facilitate online gambling, games of skill or lotteries, including online casino, sports books, bingo or poker, unless the Page has obtained prior authorization from Facebook.”
Because the sport of greyhound racing, including betting, is 100 per cent legal in Australia, we have appealed this decision directly to Facebook and are hoping to have our page re-published in the near future.
It is our aim to restore the page as soon as possible so that we can resume delivering all the latest news to our loyal audience.
