Baird denies link to Wentworth Park apartment complex

NSW Premier 's office says there's been no secret meetings with developers, following reports confidentiality agreements have been signed for an apartment complex at Sydney's .

According to reports aired on radio station 2GB, talks of a 360-apartment complex with three major developers including Multiplex were held on Monday, with either the premier or people from the premier's office.

A spokesman for the premier said the reports plans were afoot to sell off the prime real estate were “completely false”.

“Neither the premier nor any member of his office has met with Multiplex or any other developer regarding Wentworth Park or any other site used for greyhound racing,” he said on Tuesday.

“The premier has made clear that all crown land sites currently used for greyhound racing will remain in public use.”

I would not believe a word Baird says.  Maybe not in the next 5 years….but then look out.  Property developers would kill to own the northern part of WP….the area next to the Bay.
