The other wide runner, Nobby Bale (8), ran on strongly for third, one and three quarter lengths behind Keybow.

The win was Banjo Boy's 15th win from 28 career starts and the big striding -Off Springer (Flying Penske-Skullring) dog has now earned over $100,000 for .

This dog & his owner deserve all the success possible. It would have won the Melbourne Cup if it wasn’t scratched by officials. It is the best dog in Australia. Injured last week….amazing heart…Congratulations Tommo!

@David With all due respect when Banjo Boy regularly beats Group class opposition he might then be considered in the elite class. Very nice dog but “best dog in Australia” ? Please check those mushrooms.
