Leg 1 – Richmond – Race 7: Little High To Win $2.45
Little High is a class act when on song and with the empty draw underneath he should get all the breaks in the run to the first turn. He can be a little hit or miss early but he does have a great turn of foot and there is limited early speed engaged in this event. This is the easiest race he has contested for quite some time and if he can reproduce his slick 30.55 PB here, he should take some catching. He is currently $2.45 and that appears to be a good price.
Leg 2 – Wentworth Park – Race 6: Cracked Model To Place $2.38
Cracked Model is probably better suited to a shorter journey but she finds herself in a race where she should be able to find the top early and if she does she should be able to figure to in the finish. Last week she was dragged down whilst trying to hold the early lead and after working hard she got a little tired in the run home. There is very little early speed in this event, so she should be able to dash away mid race and she appears to be great value at $2.38 for the place.
Leg 3 – Wentworth Park – Race 8: Karma Connie To Place $3.75
Karma Connie is a consistent speedster and she is surprisingly well drawn in the middle. There is an abundance of early speed in boxes one, two and three, if she can miss the kick, she should be able to glide across, find the rail and settle in around third or fourth spot. She is extremely strong in the run to the line and she has recorded fast times here in the past, so with an ounce of luck early she should be able to figure in the finish and she is well over the odds a $3.75.
