Dapto greyhound preview, racing tips & quaddie | Thursday, 25/1
If it's Thursday night, it means it's time for the Dapto Greyhounds, and this Thursday is no exception. Dapto will host 10 amazing races, with the first beginning at 6.57pm local time. The final of the fifth-grade series will be the highlight, but there are some quality races over a variety of distances and grades. As always, Australian Racing Greyhound will try and find you a winner or two.
Race 4: Batgirl (1)
Batgirl chased the very talented From The East here last week and was far from disgraced. She then went to Richmond and, after blowing the start, managed to drive through the field for an impressive victory. Her record now stands at 23 starts for four wins and eleven placings, and here at Dapto, she has an impressive three wins and seven placings from a dozen starts. She has yet to win from box one in four attempts, which is a concern, but the way she drove through them at Richmond suggests that if she gets an ounce of room down on the fence, she will be charging through them, perhaps on her purple Batcycle, and notching up her fourth race win here.

Race 9: Goodbye Mate (2)
Goodbye Mate cost himself the race last week when he began beautifully and then rolled off the fence at the home turn and allowed Dig Deep Sully to get under him and engage in a bumping duel down the home straight. It could have been his hat-trick from his first three career starts. He is expected to bounce straight back into the winners' circle tonight. He gets into this 1-2 winners race perfectly graded and draws a favourable inside box. If he can cross Maxie Emgrand early, he will get all the favours, as that dog will drift up the track and run cover for him, and he can record his third win from four starts.

Race 3: Good Odds Honey (1)
Honey finally drops back into a fourth- and fifth-grade race here after spending a month sprinting against the best sprinters running around. Her run here last week behind the top-class Roseberry Hustler in a non-graded race was excellent, but unfortunately she runs into another up-and-coming star in the form of “From The East” in this race. Hopefully, this just means you will get great value from her. If From the East misses the kick or doesn't get across from box eight, you can be sure that Good Odds Honey will use box one to her advantage. She has won five of the 15 here at Dapto, with another six placings.
