There is a fair bit of early speed and that should allow him to drift across and find the rail without too much trouble. He is extremely strong in the run home and if the gaps open up mid race he will definitely be a big threat to win. I have chosen the place option for the multi, purely because he will give them a head start but because he rails hard he should be able to go past past some tiring runners and the $2.10 is big overs.
Leg 2 – The Meadows – Race 8: Fever Pitch To Win $2.15 with Bet365
Fever Pitch has come up with the good draw and he returned to his best form during the week with a dazzling 29.94 Cranbourne win. With the wide running Midnight Flynn drawn on his outside, he should get plenty of room to drive through early and he should find the top as they head for the back straight. He meets some talented ones but he is all class and he appeared to regain his confidence at Cranbourne.
Leg 3 – Ipswich – Race 6: Magic Kitchen To Place $1.91
Magic Kitchen has done most of her racing over the 431m journey here and she has scored some devastating wins. Tonight she is stepping up to the longer trip and I'm expecting her to pounce on the early lead and give a great sight. I think she has a great chance of winning but the last 40m is a slight concern and that's why I think the place option is better for the multi. The biggest key to the race is that there is no speed at all on her inside and the four dog moves right soon after box rise.
