Race 4: Rivergum Drive
Rivergum Drive is a brilliant NSW speedster and he looked ultra impressive when scoring in his Victorian debut at Ballarat in a scorching 24.90. On that occasion he exploded out of the traps and he was never in doubt, from the red tonight I’m expecting him to step away again and he should be able to lead all the way again. He has recorded some eye popping times at Wentworth Park so he should put the time on the board again.
Race 10: Ultima Bale
Ultima Bale is an absolute beast when on song and from the red draw he should take a power of beating. From the red draw he should be able to settle closer to the speed than normal and he might even be able to hold the early lead. He is capable of going around the 29.70 mark and that should see him score with ease. Blazin’ Bomber is an excitement machine and he will take some stopping, however from the middle pin he is likely to find trouble and the $3.65 on offer with William Hill for the red is huge.
Race 3: Fancy Arjo
Fancy Arjo is much better than her recent form reads and with an ounce of luck in the early stages she should get every chance to salute. She has been missing the kick in recent times but she does have a smart turn of foot and there isn’t a lot of speed drawn on her outside, so she should get plenty of room to drive through. She is currently at the $10 mark with William Hill and that is enormous over’s and she is worth an each way ticket.
Race 3: 3 to rove with 1,5,7 ($3 for 100%)
Bass Louder is expected to lead and he should get away mid race, the last 30m is a small concern but he should be able to hang on for a top two finish. Wild Fire and Funny Bone will be charging home late, whilst Jedd Tokaam should sit just behind the leader for most of the journey.
Race 10: 1,3/1,2,3,6/1,2,3,6,7 ($18 for 100%)
Leg 1: 1,2,7,8 – Leg 2: 5,6,8 – Leg 3: 1,2,4,5,7 – Leg 4: 1,2,3
$180 for 100%
