Greyhound Betting Tips Monday 24th February

Tonight's race meetings look very tough, with multiple chances in a lot of races throughout the night. Hopefully with a little luck going our way, we can find a few winners to place your hard earned on.

Albion Park Greyhounds Race 8 Box 4 Bellagio Lad, 9.08pm

The reality is that this race has only three runners who can win. Bellagio Lad, Fine Cotton and Fawn Corsair. Bellagio Lad is the quickest early of the three runners, and can break 35.00 seconds. If he does get out to a early lead, and runs up to what he's capable of, then he'll be super hard to beat. Fine Cotton has tremendous talent, and can also win this if she pings. But she's not the best beginner and heads straight to the fence. This could hold her up and allow Bellagio Lad to skip away. Fawn Corsair is only young, but has been demonstrating he too has plenty of talent and he can come from behind to fill a hole.

This race looks a perfect multiple betting race, so I suggest trying to secure the exotics as well.

Bellagio Lad to win.

Angle Park Greyhounds Race 8 Box 1 Flying Tee, 8.58pm

This dog has more then enough ability to thrash these if he switches on. He's been very disappointing of late but his record from box one is superb. He's far too good to continue to race poorly, and it won't be long before he finds his best again. From the red he should poke right up on the inside and race right away in the middle stages of the race. His PB of 29.79 is far better than these and he should get down around the 30.00 dead mark.

Boxed well class runner and should be bouncing back here tonight.

Hobart Greyhounds Race 4 Box 1 King Nitro, 7.45pm

This dog showed his ability when he flew home two starts ago and looked like class dog. He failed in his next start and looked very flat, but there's no doubt he has an enormous motor. Box one will suit him and he only needs to get away safely and find clear running to give these a flogging. Resale, the main danger, is highly promising also, but the white chaser begins slowly and finds himself out the back early on.

Both dogs have huge potential, so stick to backing either one here tonight depending on the market.

Shepparton Greyhounds Race 10 Box 3 Thor Bale, 10.12pm

This dog finds himself in race that will allow him to begin steadily and work home hard. He's got a fair motor, but finds it tough when plenty of early speed is present. He's better then most of these, but is taking a long time to mature, as do a lot of the Progeny. As long as he gets away safely tonight and finds clear room in the run home, he should be too good.

Eachway chance, and should start around $5.00

Best Of Luck
