Race 6: Maywyn's Ace
Maywyn's Ace has a fantastic record from wide draws and he returned to form with a brilliant 25.18 win here on Tuesday. On that occasion he was good to begin and he was then able to carve across and find the early lead. Tonight he meets a similar lineup and with a keen railer and slow beginner drawn in the seven, he should be able to get across and assume control again. He should be running around the 25.10 mark on the lure and that should be enough to score.

Race 9: You Say So
You Say So is a highly talented speedster when on song and today he has come up with the perfect draw. He hasn't had a lot of luck in his most recent races but three starts back he did destroy a solid lineup when posting a zippy 22.76 at Warragul. There is a bit of speed drawn in the middle and I'm expecting them to shuffle up underneath him and that should allow him to cross and get away mid race. He should be around the $7 to $8 mark come jump time and that is a nice price.

Race 1: Sherlock
Sherlock doesn't have the best form at present but he did show good signs when placed here last time out. He has won six of 23 over this track and trip and he has been placed in a further nine, with the empty draw underneath and a keen railer in box four, he should be able to get across and find the front in the early stages. The last 30 or 40m might be a small concern but at the $16 or better he does appear to be a solid bet.

Race 6: 2 to rove with 6 & 7 ($2 for 100%)
Black Bear Lee is an exciting talent and from the two draw he should roll to the early lead and a top two finish is on the cards. The seven is ideally drawn out wide and he has turned in some great performances of late, whilst the six is a very strong chaser and with an ounce of luck early he should be able to power to the line.
