Greyhound Racing Tips For Monday 9th September 2013

Albion Park Greyhounds Race 1 Box 1 Trek Fox 6.44pm

Hopefully its third time lucky for the blue blood Trek Fox. I was in high praise of him after his first run but he found alot of trouble early on and was checked out of contention from the get go. He's drawn box 2 in his first two starts, and I think he looks a little more suited out here in the 7. Apart from the well bred Velocity Fire, I doubt there's much that can gallop in this. I have no doubt Trek Fox can go 30.30 with ease and I highly doubt whether any of these can go that quick. It's never easy backing maidens and I generally stay well away, but he looks a very promising pup and he should be about $3.00 here tonight.

Angle Park Greyhounds Race 9 Box 3 Ceduna Cruiser 9.18pm

This fellow has the motor and is a very capable animal but being slow early generally spells the end of his chances when they jump. He's been drawing out wide here recently and box 3 will be a welcome change for him here in this. He just needs a nice clean start and room to gallop, and having two quicker beginners on his inside will certinly help him. Mid race he has huge burst and can certainly pick them up mid way through here. Dyna Millier looks the one to beat, but she has a poor record here and that is the
biggest concern. Ceduna Cruiser will start nice each way odds and is worth the punt if he gains just a little bit of racing luck.

Grafton Greyhounds Race 5 Box 2 Cruising Jet 8.34pm

A big chance must be given to the son of and Drunken Treasure. Cruising Jet can ping in fromt here in this, and he will be very hard to run down if he does. With the scratching of the box 1 runner, Cruising Jet should get a dream run on the rail and with plenty of room. He has a PB of 23.25 which isn't quick, but he does have a sensatioanl record here at the track with 4 wins and 2 placings from 8 starts. His form is very consistent and from the inside he's worth having something on. There's a few chances though in this and boxes 3,6,8 look the ones.

Launceston Greyhounds Race 6 Box 1 Holyheath 9.22pm

This looks the right race for Holyheath to in. She's back after having a crack at the heat where she went okay. The key to tonight's race is her getting forward from the get go. If she's able to ping and hold onto her spot on the rail, she'll be very strong mid race and should be able to win from that position.

Shepparton Greyhounds Race 5 Box 5 Clone Your Own 8.30pm

This fellow was breathtaking here last start after missing the start and showing flying mid race pace to eaisly circle around them and race away for a huge victory. His time was great and if he pings out tonight I seriously think he can break the record. His last start run had merit, and we know how good he is after his winnning early in the year. He'll start the favourite but at about even money I think he's the first dog into next weeks Cup final. He looks tonight's best bet and maybe we will see the record go.

Best Of Luck
