Albion Park Greyhounds Race 8 Box 7 Raging Obsession 5.18
There will be no value in backing this fellow, but it does look a great trifecta race with boxes 1,7,8. Boxes 7-8 pick themselves, after they both won well last start and both have plenty of early toe. But the box 1 runner Faithful Mustang can add the required value here to the exotics that's needed. He must be quite injury prone, as he's had very little starts over his career; but at times he's shown glimpses of being a handy chaser. Boxed best of the rest, this fellow should handle the inside box with aplomb, and being fresh from a spell he could fill a hole here. Boxes 7-8 look the quinella, so with an outlay of $2.00 from 100% of the trifecta, it might be worth having it a few times. 7,8-1
Angle Park Greyhounds Race 6 Box 2 Farmeroo 1.39pm
It will be another day of favourites at Angle Park Today in the 4 heats of the Brian Johnstone. The S.A Champ Ernie Bung Arrow returns and should just simply win his heat. Farmeroo has an empty box beside him and also looks tough to beat but there's no value thee either, so we will have a go at finding the trifecta in order. Box 7 runner Woodnear, is the early toe and he should bounce straight out and race along side Farmeroo early; but in the run to the line Farmeroo should be to strong. The third place dog should be Talk And Run, who has ability if he can get forward and try it stay in touch with the other two early. He should find himself in third place at some stage and once he's there he should hold that position. Great trifecta race: 2-7-4.
Bulli Greyhounds Race 5 Box 8 Sir Albert 8.28pm
This fellow ticks all the boxes here tonight. He should be overs, he loves the pink box, is in form and can run the time required to win the race – Tick tick tick. He's been going great guns of late, recording 2 wins and 3 placings in his last 5 starts. He draws the 8 box here tonight and should no doubt improve from the perfect box draw. Expect him to wind up down the outside early and race away here in around 22.55. He has a PB of 22.73 but with clear running in the outside here tonight, I expect him to go much quicker. Great bet in a quality field, but he looks the one.
