Looks a pretty straight forward race with the in form Kalden Kostello likely to score. Two starts ago he dropped back to the 400m journey at Gawler and he scored a brilliant 22.69 win, clearly that effort sharpened him up as he then followed that effort up with a commanding 30.60 win over the 531m trip. He is showing a lot more genuine early speed at present and I can see him leading all the way. Spring Amanda is ideally drawn out wide and she was a strong 35.36 winner here over 600m last week. She is fairly reliable early and she should match motors with Kalden Kostello for most of the journey. Allen Cydan finished strongly when placed here two runs back and he looks a solid place chance again, whilst Dyna Quilton has the good draw and he must be included in your exotic bets.

Montgomery Road has been racing in much stronger company of late and he has hit the line very strongly in his two recent placings here. The key to tonight's race is that it features quite a few front runners who all struggle over this journey. If he can settle midfield he should be able to make a strong move mid race and pick them off late. Spring Pebbles has struggled here previously but she returned to form recently with a speedy 30.91 Gawler win from this draw. Dyna Vanity is another run on type and she is better than her recent form reads. Flying Knocka could be the value in the event, he will go around at big odds and if he happens to land on the bunny he could give a great sight.
