Renatus has been racing in much stronger company of late and with the notoriously slow early Smashing Niro drawn underneath he should get every chance to lead throughout. He has been placed in two of four tries over this journey and both of those placings were in very . This race lacks a fair bit of depth so if you can land even money that is big over's. Bago Kysam scored back to back wins here in September over the 431m journey and he hasn't had much luck since stepping up in distance. With a clean getaway he should be able to settle in the top two early and fill the quinella spot. Smashing Niro will trail them early but he does hit the line well, he is a great dog to anchor for third and fourth in your exotic bets. Ohiyesa rounds out the chances, she has a slick 30.62 PB over this trip and she can ping the lids on occasions.

Top Four: 2 – 3 – 1 – 4

Captain Ces looks perfectly placed in this event. He has won two of four here with a sizzling 30.40 PB and he has the wide running Cosmic Pauly on his outside so he should get plenty of cover in the early stages. He can miss the kick on occasions but he does possess a fantastic turn of foot, so he should get all the breaks tonight. Cosmic Pauly should set the pace but I'm not convinced that he can run a strong 520m. His 420m form at is highly impressive but he loses a lot of ground on the turns and he will need some shuffling behind to be able to hold on. Pay Sheet is never far away in this class and he is well drawn out wide, he is better suited over the 431m journey but he has posted two solid placings over this trip in recent weeks.

Top Four: 4 – 5 – 6 – 7
