Gralin has been racing well over the shorter journeys of late and after a luckless effort at Wentworth Park over this distance he is ready to show improvement. Last time out he was a tad slow to begin and he had to work hard mid race and he was then found wanting up the home straight. Tonight he should be able to land on the bunny and he should set up a nice lead mid race, he is going to get a little tired in the run home but he should have enough left in the tank. Miston Belle was a brilliant 29.87 Gosford winner four runs back and she is drawn to feature, she can be a little hit or miss early but from the red she should anticipate the start quite well. Lorella Fire is showing promise and she didn't have much luck here last week, the draw doesn't help tonight but she can ping the lids and she shouldn't be too far away.

Big Tee Sal is a classy type and he is surprisingly well drawn in the middle. With the fast beginning and keen railing Stratavon Pat drawn underneath he should get a nice cart across as they head into the first turn. Four starts ago he pinged the lids and scored an all the way 30.14 Wentworth Park win and a similar effort tonight would see him score with ease. Stratavon Pat should lead them up and she has a top record here, she has been placed in five of her past six starts and she should give a great sight again. Hayden Hair can be a bit of nonny at times but he has a heap of ability and he is drawn to make an impact. He has been racing in much stronger company of late and it's hard to see him missing a place from the red draw. Masii could be the value in the event, he can show early speed in his races and he could run a cheeky race at big odds.
