Veloway is dropping considerably in class and he is drawn to get the gun run. With Senor Socks expected to lead them up, he should be able to drive through at the first turn and settle just a couple of lengths from the lead. Senor Socks is likely to struggle over the final stages so he should be able to pick him off as they turn for home. Sonic Dash scored a strong 29.96 win here four runs back and he should be hitting the line solidly, he will need some luck early but he appears to be getting better with every run. Senor Socks is obviously a chance as he will lead for a long way, I'm not convinced that he will run a strong 500m so place claims look best. Dyna Fatbob could be the value, he is hit or miss early but when he steps he is capable of running time on the lure.

Impact Bale is another who should be suited by the drop in class today, he has been solidly placed in his past three starts and this is the weakest race he has contested for quite a while. There isn't a whole lot of speed drawn around him so I can see him either leading or settling in the top three as they negotiate the first bend. With an ounce of luck in running he should prove too strong for these. Renstar is a promising speedster and he is blessed with great mid race speed, he is having his first look at the track but if he gets through the first turn unscathed he should be able to make an impact. Gangnam Style rounds out the winning hopes, he was a speedy 29.73 winner here in September and a similar effort tonight would see him be in the mix.
