Scanez Cee has been racing in very consistent style of late and from the good draw he should get every chance to lead throughout. He is normally a reliable beginner and he has won over the 595m journey so he doesn't lack strength. Bit Hot Henry could be the value in the event, he is ideally placed out wide and he comes here with strong Tasmanian credentials. If he can step a little better he should run a big race at odds. Enjoy Cruising should appreciate the rise in distance and he should settle in the top three early. Four starts ago he scored a commanding 25.90 win and he will continue to improve with more racing. Velocemente has been racing in much stronger company and if he can get some luck in the early stages he shouldn't be too far away.

Rumero Reason has been racing in much stronger class of late and he looks poised to return to the winners list. He is a railer and from box three he should be able to find the fence soon after the start and he will make a strong move mid race. Hunter Rocks is expected to lead but I don't think he can run out the trip, so he should be a sitting duck for Rumero Reason. Star Doll is never far away and she has won here previously in a handy 31.22. She normally begins well and should be in the mix throughout. Wattle Grove has the good draw and she has shown tremendous improvement in her two most recent starts. If she happens to hold them out early she will prove very hard to reel in.
