Pedro's Runaway is well placed in the pink draw and he looked super impressive when scoring at in 25.67 two runs back. He is normally a reliable beginner and he is armed with a tremendous turn of foot, he should get a clear passage in the first 30m or so and that should allow him to lead from go to whoa. Polished Steel returned to form with a commanding 32.78 win last time and he looms as the obvious danger. Young Hawke must be respected, he can be hard to follow at times but he can ping the lids and he is capable of running time on the bunny.

Woleebee Lad has been racing fairly well of late and today he should be suited by the drop in class. He has won here previously in a handy 24.13 but with a clear run early he is capable of going well under the 24 second mark. Booma Mikado is well drawn out wide and she should ping to the early lead. She was run down in the closing stages here last week but she should be much better for the run. Starbright was far from disgraced in his placing here last week and with a clear run in the first 50m he should be right in the mix.
