Greyhound Tips For Monday 29th July 2013

Albion Park Greyhounds, Race 4 Box 3 Bungiton, 7.44pm

Novice event here with little quality engaged. It's a rough field with what's appears to be many chances, but I have been following the Reid trained Bungiton, which hails from a pretty good litter of Magic Sprites. His last couple of runs here at Albion have been pretty good and excellent when you consider the dogs he competed against. There's no flying machines engaged in this and he should win this with the right run. He's probably capable of about 30.45 and that should see him win this with ease. Box 3 won't be too much of a concern and he only needs to gain the right. I'm unsure of the price he will start at but don't take silly odds, about $4.00 is about the right price. It's hard to find a danger, and he looks a super eachway chance.

Angle Park Greyhounds Race 3 Box 8 Permitted 7.19pm

Be cautious backing this fellow, I'd recommend an eachway bet. The Ex Queenslander, was fantastic when first coming going across to S.A, but poor beginnings and trouble has found him struggling for form. He won really well here from box 8, and posted a fast 29.93 in doing so. He can get out of a box, and posted a solid 4.50 to the mark when he last won. If he can begin here tonight and take up a forward position, he should price far to strong and sweep right around the outside to win. If he fails to jump then based on recent efforts your tickets confetti; so make sure a solid price is achieved. Other winning chances are Fiery Mcbain, and Sammy's Sister. The former is in solid form and if he fists away in front he'll win. He's been going well and this too looks the right race for him. Sammy's Sister has a big motor and hails from a great litter; don't be surprised to see her show up – best roughie.

Grafton Greyhounds Race 7 Box 3 Float Ya Boat 9.12pm

Float Ya Boat should win this and with a couple of serious contenders he should start at a fair price. He prefers a little room to move and can be risky at times at box rise, but he has a motor and can certainly gallop with clear running. He should jump away with box 4 runner Noir Lee, and match motors with him. He'll have the inside running and that should be enough for him to hold out Noir Lee and win. There may be a little money for box 1 runner Elevena, but I'd dismiss her chances as she needs plenty of things go her way to win. Boxes 3 and 4 look the standouts, and anchor the pair of them in all exotics.

Launceston Greyhounds Race 6 Box 7 Dark Gladiator 9.20pm

Going to give this fellow here tonight he couldn't get across here last week and was posted wide throughout. He finished near last and was quite disappointing. Lashing Jill will start the favourite, and looks super hard to beat from box 1 but I just get the feeling Dark Gladiator has a 720 win in him and it may be tonight. He's again drawn out wide here tonight, and he should start at double figure odds. It's hard to say how he will win and how he will beat the fav Lashing Jill, but I get the feeling he's going to win one, and at double figure odds he's worth a small eachway bet. He's got plenty of talent and keep following.

Shepparton Greyhounds Race 7 Box 3 Koka Kola 9.08pm

Super tough race with about 5 winning chances, it's possible to make a case for many. I'm going with the young gun Koko Kola, here who is in fine form. He's won here in quick time and is only one of two runners who won their last start. He's got great early toe and good strength and should be off and gone from the get go. Flying machine Allen Benji is about the only danger to Koko Kola, and he has the ability to run the hands off the clock. If he comes out running like he can i doubt he can be beat but he's a little out of form since returning from a stint at the in Nsw, and I'd wait for him to to improve before backing him with confidence.
