Greyhound Tips For Saturday 15th June 2013

A little light on last night with only the 1 winner but it did pay $4.50 so it should have covered everyones bets.

It's a huge night of racing with the final of the eagerly awaited Peter Mosman at . My tip for the big one is the talented Johnny Fire from box 1. The lids fly open at 9.53pm and all our usually sponsors will be offering fixed odds on the race; Sportingbet, , and IasBet.

Wentworth Park Greyhounds, Race 3 Box 2 Black Rip, 8.07pm

This appears a between two runners; boxes 2 and 4. I'm going with the former here, Black Rip. Both Black Rip and Pearl Irene have loads of early toe, and both can break the 30 mark. Whichever leads between the two should win. Both dogs have flying first sectionals, Black Rip is boxed closer to the rail, and I'm thinking he can lead Pearl here by about half a length. Once he finds the front, it's going to be hard for Pearl Irene to run him down. I do think Pearl is the tougher of the two at present but it's like the trots, it's always harder doing it tough on the outside. Punters should be able to achieve $2.60 about Black fixed price; but I'd be more inclined to take runners 2 and 4, and try to tie up the multiples. Runners 5,7,8,9 look the place Numbers.

The Meadows Greyhounds, Race 5 Box 3 Whispering Wind, 8.38pm

Big chance given here to Whispering Wind. I'll be have a good bet on this fellow, and he looks likely to lead here tonight. He has to lead to win, buys he's quite capable and has been racing in great style. All he's met of late has been FFA dogs and winners. This is a massive drop in class and he looks the winner. The Tighter Meadows circuit, suits him well, and I'm sure if he flys the lids he can run 30.00. He's record here is ordinary but with his best jump he should collect the winners of $5,000. There's plenty of speed and strength in the race, so it may get tight rounding the first turn but from a middle box he should stay out of trouble. I'd suggest if your having a bet jump on and try to secure fixed odds as early as possible.

Cannington Greyhounds Race 6 Box 6 Richie Rich, 8.43pm WA time

This bloke won from the reserve box Wednesday night and was extremely impressive in doing so. He wasn't great away but showed tremendous acceleration to race around the outside and win. He's low flying of late, and easily looks the winner. West On Polly will throw out the challenge, and I hope the punters come for the trained runner because Richie will start better odds if they do. He's a real smarty chaser and should just jump lead and win here tonight.

Best of luck
