Greyhound Tips For Thursday 11th April 2013

Yesterday's Results: Kesh Stream – Second, Felina Bale – Unplaced, Fully Advaced – Second, Evie Jane- Winner $1.70.

Yesterday was quite a day for . We saw two track records fall.

Firstly Australia's fastest dog in my opinion,Punch One Out; absolutely destroyed the , running a phenomenal time of 29.90 taking 4 lengths of the old one. That's now two flying records for the little black chaser and im sure theres plenty more over 500 and no doubt further.

Then later that night, the recent winner Ronan Izmir lowered the record, pinging out and racing away running a 24.95 for the 450m journey.

Albion Park Greyhounds Race 2 Box 3 Captain Clarrie

I'm super confident this bloke can win this race. He's got a bit of claw this fellow, and was extremely unlucky in last weeks Easter trophy where he was beaten by litter and kennel mate Jeppeli. He jumped from box 5 and was squeezed right up, before he unleashed a huge turn of foot and tried to burst through the pack. Unfortunately he ran into a dead end which spelt the end of his chances. From box 3 against this opposition he will have a little more room to move and I'm confident he can win. Since returning from a short stint in NSW both the brothers have sharply improved. It appears as if it did them the world of good. His brother Jeppeli, has come up with the rails box and he's a much improved chaser of late. But expect the Captain to either jump and run, or sit just behind the speed and be way too good here. Great Bet.

Angle Park Greyhounds, Race 8 Box 1 Mimicking. 9.41pm

West End Draught Distance Championship – It's not a tough multiple's race but it is quite tough to find the winner. With 4 winning chances, I'm going to go with last weeks tip Mimicking for value. Box 1 won't entirely suit, but he has a great finish and he went super here last week coming off the pace. To run down Cousin Callum, who improved dramatically on his previous weeks run. There's going to me plenty of hustle and bustle early with Proven Impala and Cousin Callum leading out. Mimicking and Kalden Mayhem will be battling it out behind. Mimicking should get the softest run of the four, and he may finish over the top of them here. It's a tough race with 4 chances and I'll take Mimicking for value. Facts are though, there ain't much between all 4 here tonight given they all steer clear of trouble…

Maitland Greyhounds, Race 8 Box 6 El Brooklyn, 9.58pm

The big one for the night the , and I'm sure most of you would of read our betting ; but I'm going with the ever consistent El Brooklyn. She hails from around here before being brought and sent to Victoria by Jason and the family. She's super consistent, and a very fast beginner. She been there and done that making plenty of race and feature finals. It's a race jammed pack full of exciting talent and you can make a case for all runners. But El Brooklyn for me, quick beginner who will steer clear out of trouble. She can run the time and is extremely reliable. 8 chances here, El Brooklyn for me.

Sandown Greyhounds Race 7 Box 3 Brent Bale. 9,11pm

Tough race but Brent Bale went super lady start when only being run down by Surf Mail. No Surf Mail here tonight and he should once again spear the lids and take off running. Should lead and hold on.

Best of Luck
