Rockhampton greyhound tips & quaddie | Wednesday, September 27
Rockhampton is set to host a 12-race program on Wednesday night from 6:54pm local time. The meeting is headlined by the QGOLD final over 407m, featuring the likes of Mark Sure Can, More Peaches, and White Like Snow. The winner will walk away with $10,000 in prize money.
Race 4: Grande Bahama (8)
Grande Bahama has started his career in brilliant fashion and will be aiming to complete a hat-trick on Wednesday night. The son of Fernando Bale debuted a fortnight ago over the 407m and was very impressive from box eight. After jumping fairly, he showed a ripping turn of foot to loom up, take the lead, and put the race to bed. He improved again last start, running a personal best of 23.71. Now he steps up to fifth-grade company and finds a very winnable race. He draws perfectly in box eight, as he likes to use the track, and with a lack of speed engaged, he should be right on the pace before sprinting away with it.

Race 6: Chips In (4)
Chips In returns from a fortnight’s absence and finds arguably his easiest contest for quite some time. The son of Fernando Bale was racing in good order before enduring a tough fall and finishing well down the track behind White Like Snow. Prior to that, he was a good winner over the 510m when beating Misunderstood. He has consistently raced in best-eight company over this distance against the likes of Pereira, Pitter Patter, and Ring Me, who are proven performers in this grade. His rivals here are all stepping up in grade and will be tested for the first time under this pressure.

Race 2: Too Much Scotch (8)
Too Much Scotch recently underwent a kennel change from Darren Taylor to John Kuhn, where he has had two starts down the straight at Capalaba. Both efforts have had merit, and he appears to be going quite well. He’s drawn ideally in box eight, as he likes to use the track, and with Moonlit Mandy inside him, who misses the kick and rails hard, he should see plenty of room. Expect him to begin well, spear across to lead, and give a sight at decent odds.
