The Meadows are set to host 12 races on Saturday night from 6:32PM local time. A host of leading trainers are well represented throughout the card and will be out to have a big night.
Best Bet: Tending Yale (Race 6)
Thomas Dailly will be looking to take out the sixth with Trending Yale and a good draw aids his chances. Only a three time winner, Trending Yale has jumped from tough draws over the past month and has raced with little luck. His last start over this distance, he was subject of heavy traffic throughout when 3rd in 34.59s (595m Sandown). He exhibited a tendency to rail which caused his downfall. From the stripes, he should be able to find the rail and given he does he will be able to accelerate through down the back where he is expected to take off.

Elite Alex will be out to follow in Baby Jaycee's footsteps returning from a Golden Easter Egg campaign as a winner. Running second twice to qualify before having no luck from a wide draw in the final, one would think – Could this be his coming of age? Travel has often matured dogs in the past and given he has come through the run well, we could see a new peak tonight. Elite Alex boasts a lightning 29.84s PB over track and trip as well as a 8: 3-2-1 record at The Meadows. Alex is drawn well in box 3 with Garry Stun On inside him who will look to dive across to the rails and Spring Casper outside who is a slow beginner and holds his line. If Alex can find the bunny it will be a matter of times and margins.

Best Value: Binny Doo (Race 1)
The maiden final appears an even contest with no standouts from the four heats which has led us to hunt for value. Binny Doo, a one-year-old son of Fernando Bale was well supported for his debut when closing $4.10 in the market. Jumping from box 8, the Robbie Britton trained runner was unable to find the front and raced green heading around the turn the first time when colliding with the running rail on multiple occasions. He stuck on well enough for a dog on debut who appeared all at sea and should benefit from this run. The key tonight is that he's drawn lower in the stripes and has Raven Quail outside him who likes to use the track early. With a better beginning, he will race forward and could cause a minor upset.
