Considering it is a maiden final to kick off the night, there is a fair bit of depth in this event and there should be some good ones come out of it.

West On Delly was probably the most impressive of the heat winners. Last week she pinged the lids and reeled off sizzling sectionals before stopping the clock in a zippy 30.08. If she can turn in a similar performance tonight it’s hard to see anything being able to match motors with her.

Angel Of Music is another who is armed with early speed and she is bursting to break through, last week she reeled off a similar first section to my top pick but her run home time wasn’t as good. If she can settle in the top two she should have enough in the tank to hold on for a place.

Opec Bale is a the run on type in the event and he looks to have great staying prospects for the future, last week he overcame a few difficulties in running before charging home to score in 30.29. He is going to need a few things to go his way but if the gaps open he will be there at the finish.

Deborah Lee is in good hands and she could be an improving type also, she is well bred and she trialled well before her debut here last week.

Remote Control comes here with strong NSW form and he has shown that when he gets room in the early stages he can really motor. From the pink draw he should get a clear passage early and if he can balance up quickly he should be able to find the front as they enter the first bend. He has some quick wins to his credit so if he finds the bunny he will prove hard to reel in.

Udon Bale is a bit of a gunner, but he has turned in some strong efforts of late and from the red he is drawn to get all the breaks. He takes a few strides to get going but if he can punch through and settle in the top four he should be running over the top of them late in the race.

Hashtag Selfie is improving with every run and she looked impressive in her all the way 30.21 win here last time. If she finds the early lead she should give a great sight again.

Red Superman is poorly drawn but he has plenty of gears, if he is allowed to muster speed in the first 50m he should be able to put himself into the race.

This race features a number of runners who must lead to win and I think King Surfa should win the battle to the first turn and that should allow him to snag the winners prize. Last week he made his 525m debut and after a steady getaway he mustered speed quickly and led for most of the journey. He should be much better for that run and if he finds the bunny early he should be much stronger in the run to the line.

Bottom Dollar is highly talented when on song and he should be able to follow King Surfa across in the first 50m, if he can get through the first turn unscathed and settle within four of King Surfa he should give the leader plenty to think about.

Trail Blazing is very hard to follow but he has the good draw and he is fairly strong in the run to the line, if he can avoid bother he should give a nice sight.

Zeppelin Bale has won two of five here and he has enough early dash to be a competitor, my only concern with him is that King Surfa and Topper Road might carve him up in the early stages.

Heaps Of Ability can be costly at times but this is the weakest event he has contested for some time. He loves to scout wide in his races and his latest win came from a wide draw at . On that occasion he jumped well and reeled off great sectionals before posting a ridiculous 41.35. If he can repeat that type of performance tonight he is likely to put an absolute space in this lot.

Double Rinse turned in a huge performance when narrowly beaten by Blinkers On here two runs back. She can be a little hit or miss early but if she happens to get away and settle in the top three she should be right in the mix at the finish.

Echelonic Action has a tremendous record here over 600m and his failed attempts over this journey have been in Race company, from the red he should settle in a fairly prominent position and he will appreciate racing in this class.

Dyna Orion is the interesting runner, he is making his staying debut but his efforts over the middle distance of late suggest that this type of journey is right up his alley.

Good race and I think we can find some value with the talented Starc. Prior to hitting the deck last time, he had turned in some strong performances at Sandown and he finds himself in a suitable race tonight. I am expecting him to settle in the top two or three early and he should give a bold sight. You should be able to snag around the $6 mark and that is great value.

Lady Toy is a very strong chaser and she will be charging home at the business end. She is yet to win here in three tries here but she has been placed in two of those attempts. She is going to need a few breaks in running but she is the only genuine stayer in the event so she must be respected.

Seeking Justice is going to be very well supported and he is clearly a chance, however this is a big step up in class for him and he is no guarantee to run the trip right out.

Just Ducal is making his debut here but he has scored some strong Sandown Park wins, if he can handle the track he should run a big race.

9INGA BALE (NSW)[4]Res.1613830.30(4)S Collins (Lara)

Beckenbauer is racing in dazzling form of late and from the red draw he should be able to lead throughout. There is a little bit of speed drawn on his outside but he does posses a great turn of foot and with an even getaway he should be able to hold them out. He has a solid 30.26 PB here but he is a much faster chaser this time around and a sub 30 second run could be on the cards for him.

Kerrigan Bale is a very hard chaser to follow but she is blessed with explosive talent, she caught the eye with a strong 30.15 win here two runs back and with a good getaway she should figure prominently for most of the journey.

Zipping Bruno is a gun NSW chaser and he looked impressive when posting a strong 30.29 win here last week, he will need some luck in running but he is good enough to overcome a couple of difficulties in running.

Polly Bale rounds out the chances, she has a solid record here and she has shown in the past that she can run time when on the bunny.

Shall She Rock was desperately unlucky at Sandown Park last time and she should be ready to make amends tonight. From box three she should be able to lob onto the rails in the early stages and get a nice sit on Go Mobo, she is extremely strong in the run home and she should run over the top of them in the closing stages.

Go Mobo is drawn to hold the early lead and he should give a great sight. Last week the track was heavy on the inside so it will pay to forgive his effort as he appeared to get very tired. Tonight the surface on the inside should be good and I would expect him to finish the race off in stronger fashion.

Hession Boots loves racing here and he has scored two commanding wins here of late, he always needs a few things to go his way early but from the rails draw he should get every chance.

Perfect Tess is a fast chaser when she lands on the bunny and if she pings away she can give a great sight, my only concern is that she is poorly drawn and if she misses it away her chances of winning are gone.

9INGA BALE (NSW)[4]Res.1613830.30(4)S Collins (Lara)

Dyna Yemen is a star in the making and I think he is good enough to overcome the poor draw tonight. His box manners aren’t great but he does possess a dazzling turn of speed and if he gets room in the first 30m he should explode to the early lead. In early October he posted a blistering 29.87 win here and a similar performance would see him win tonight.

Empire Allen is a classy provincial sprinter and he has a good record here. From the pink draw he should get a clear run early and he has enough speed to cross. His last 30m may be a worry but if he carves them up early he may be able to build up a race winning lead mid race. Peloton Bale has won six of 17 here and he must always be respected, he can be slow to begin but he has great track sense and he always finds his way into the money. Crawf’s Bread has the good draw and he can show enough pace to hold them up, his past two runs have been below par but from the rails draw he should be able to regain some confidence.

Zipping Felix is a promising staying type and he looked super impressive when winning at by 13 lengths in 37.48. He can show a little bit of speed in the early stages and if he settles in the top three early he should prove far too strong for this lot.

Bailey Rose has the good draw and she has been racing in consistent fashion. This is probably one of the weakest races she has contested for a while and if she can hold them out early she will prove hard to reel in.

Love Affair can be hard to follow at times but she has won here in a solid 42.95 previously. She is likely to be over the odds tonight so she might be worth a saver bet.

Big Kat rounds out the chances, she has been placed in six of 12 here and she is well placed in a wide draw.

Frank Furter is normally a very reliable beginner and he gave a great sight when placed here in fast time two runs back. There isn’t a whole lot of speed drawn underneath him and with a clean getaway he will have enough natural speed to cross them in the early stages. He isn’t overly strong in the run home but he should be running around the 30.10 mark on the and that would be enough for victory.

Maximum Lil is a class act when on song and it will pay to forgive her most recent form. She is suited by the rails draw and if she can sight the bunny early she is likely to give an improved effort.

We Are Geelong beat a classy lineup at Sandown Park five runs back in 29.81 and if he pings away he should prove very hard to reel in. His most recent racing has been done against open class sprinters so he should appreciate the drop in class.

He Isn’t Really could be the value, he is very strong and he has the ability to ping away, he is likely to be big odds but he is more than capable of matching it with this lot.

Kicking Rocks finally showed his true talents with a blistering 30.15 Cranbourne win last week, his box manners aren’t great but he has slow beginners drawn on either side so he should get a clear passage in the first 50m. He is making his debut here but I’m guessing would have trialled him here previously, so he should be able to handle the first turn.

Dyna Glinda is much better than her recent form suggests and if she is given a clear passage through the first turn she will prove hard to hold out. She has won here on two occasions previously and untouched she is capable of going sub 30 seconds.

Hot Whirl hit the line strongly when placed here last week and she shouldn’t be too far away again.

Zipping Tank rounds out the chances, five starts ago he posted an impressive 29.86 Wentworth Park win, if he can reproduce that form he should be right in the mix.

The Meadows Race 12 – 5th Grade – 525 metres – 10:54pm (VIC time)

Scintillating has recently rejoined the powerful Thompson kennel after an unsuccessful stint in NSW, after six weeks off I’m sure that his connections would have him cherry ripe for this assignment. Prior to going to NSW he was setting the provincial tracks here alight and he also scored a devastating win at Sandown. With a clear run early he should make light work of this lineup.

Tekki Minx has the good draw and she posted a strong placing here last week, from the red she should be able to settle in a much more prominent position and she should be in the finish.

Dyna Norfolk was never headed in his handy 29.78 Sandown Park win and if he finds the bunny early he could give a nice sight.

Dyna Chaser had no luck here last week and he should show improvement, he has won four of 13 here and he only needs an ounce of luck to feature.
