Wentworth Park betting tips
Saturday night will see dust the cobwebs from the party on night and start the party rolling again with another 11 races set down for decision, the first beginning at 6.27pm local time. As always, Australian Racing Greyhound will be there and will try to find you a winner or two.

Race 1: Fear The Dragons (2)

In his first race at Wenty, he took on the Young Stars heats and was far from disgraced, running third in his heat and clocking a respectable 29.91 in the process. He was awkwardly drawn in that race out in box eight and will be much better off down here near the fence. No other runner in this field has broken the 30sec mark, and you would think that with a race here and his first full 520m race under his belt, he will be much improved. Has moderate beginners drawn either side of him, and that should only further enhance his chances. While he will be the bookmaker favourite, he should be saluting.

Race 4: Not Wanted (3)

This girl has only just joined the ranks and has already made a name for herself by winning a heat and final at the renowned and recent carnival in the best of day times on both occasions. She has a handy Wenty Park record of eight starts for two wins and five placings. He has a quick 29.8 personal best around here, but that was almost a year ago. However, this master's race is not deep, and there is no doubt that if she can keep her Coonamble form going, she will add another Wenty Park win to the collection.

Race 10: Big Frank Banner (7)

This boy has a pretty handy overall race record of 16 starts for eight wins and three placings. He has three trips here at headquarters for only a second, but is better than the record suggests. He has enough early pace to be handy to the lead, or hopefully in the lead, and he has moderate beginners on either side, which should help his hopes. He has never had box seven so far in his career but is one from one from box eight, which suggests he handles the wider draws. With an ounce of luck, he can open his Wenty Park account in this event at very nice odds.
