Wentworth Park racing tips

Wentworth Park will play host to the richest night of greyhound racing on the planet on Friday night. The Million Dollar Chase will be decided, and there are nine superb support races, including the Masters Meteor, The Young Star Final, and the time-honoured Group 2 Sydney Cup. It will be a sensational night of greyhound racing, and as always, Australian Racing Greyhound will try to find you a winner or two. Here are our free Wentworth Park tips, best bets and quaddie numbers for Friday, October 13, 2023.

Race 7: Magistrate (1)

In his first run at Wenty Park, this top-class Queenslander did everything right except hold off the enigma that is One Hot Bandit. He used box one well and ran a good time — 29.69 — but it wasn’t quite enough to get him into the Million Dollar Chase Final. While he is the first reserve for the final, if he doesn’t get a start there, he will certainly be the best bet of the night to take out this consolation for his connections. He has four wins and four seconds from the inside box, and you can bet he will have improved from his first race start on the track last week.

Race 7 – SilkMagistrate (1)

Form: 22122 | Career: 41 21-11-3 | Trainer: Gregory Stella

$2.00 with Neds

Race 6: Zoha Bale (1)

The Victorian was having his first look here in the heats and was given no favours at all. He was severely checked at the first turn and did an amazing job running third. He will really appreciate the move into the inside draw, and the outside speed division won’t get the same favours as last week. He has won five from nine from the red rug with a couple of minor placings as well and should be able to push up early and find a prominent spot in running. And anyone who witnessed the way he finished things off last week knows what he can do if he gets a clear crack at them.

Race 6 – SilkZoha Bale (1)

Form: 11113 | Career: 51 20-9-8 | Trainer: Mark Delbridge

Race 4: Overflow Beau (3)

After stumbling a little at the start and getting checked early, Overflow Beau really showed how good he is by picking himself up, using box one to perfection, and doing everything right to win his heat in 29.7secs. While this is not his best time here, bear in mind the mistakes he made. Yes, the final is a much tougher race, but this boy can do it at both ends and will relish being drawn alongside probable favourite Fernando Quality who may well give him a perfect tail to chase, and provided he isn’t run off his legs, he will finish over the top of him for a great win at very nice odds.
