Wentworth Park Saturday betting tips | MDC city qualifiers
The Million Dollar Chase has well and truly descended upon Wentworth Park, with the eight city qualifying heats highlighting a star-studded Saturday programme that kicks off at 6:02pm local time. Some of the country's best chasers will be in action, and as always, Australian Racing Greyhound will try to find you a winner or two.
Race 6: Stealth (1)
This Victorian chaser came up to Sydney early and contested the Group 1 Dapto Megastar and was superb in his heat, pinging the lids and racing away. Unfortunately, he missed the kick in the final and was put out of play in the early stages. He much prefers to be drawn down near the fence and now gets the perfect draw in box one, where he has won four from eight with a couple more placings. If he can just outpace Crackerjack Boom to the first turn, he wins this heat.

Race 8: Palawa King (1)
This incredibly versatile chaser comes into these heats in great form having come back from Victoria as the National Distance Champion and then running a couple of great 520m races here. He gave One Hot Bandit a start and a beating two starts back in good time and then just found some traffic in his third behind Mortified last start. He loves the inside and has two wins and two placings from four starts on the inside. He will need a touch of luck, as he tends to give them a head start, but in a heat devoid of any blistering early pace, he should win this if he's anywhere near the lead at the first turn.

This boy hasn't been seen since early August when flashing home to run second off an awkward draw in a good field. He is probably the fastest-finishing greyhound over the 520m in NSW, but that isn't always an advantage around this tight circuit. He will be giving Midnight Spritz and Bolt Wave a start, but if they tangle or do anything wrong, you know he will be storming over the top late. It just remains to be seen if he can get across to the fence early and chase the hot pace, but at this price while fresh, he is good value.
